Back in 2001 when I was looking to move back to Chennai after working as an external IT consultant in the UK, Vizual Business Tools offered me a new, exciting and challenging opportunity with their company. The job entailed gaining knowledge on a product acquired from a company in the UK and to establish a development division in Vizual's Chennai Development Center. It was precisely what I was looking for and Vizual provided me with all necessary support. Since then there has been no looking back.
I am a long standing employee at Vizual now and am often cheekily referred to as one of the pillars by some of my colleagues. I think the length of time that I have worked here is itself a testimony of how I feel about Vizual Business Tools, its people and the work place culture. Over the last five years I have witnessed a number of positive changes, having seen the company take a giant stride forward, become highly customer focused without foregoing the care and attention it bestows for the welfare of its employees.
I work in a closely-knit team where success is celebrated and everyone in the team strives hard for this success. It is this close working environment that enables us to work together and deliver outstanding software. We also have a lot of laughs together and meticulously plan our team outings to ease our busy schedules.
Vizual uses cutting edge technologies in developing its range of products and as a leading company imparting HR values it believes in maintaining a well trained workforce. All essential training required to acquire technology skills are meticulously planned and executed and today there is not a better place where one can gain such an exposure. Almost 90% of the workforce have undergone relevant training or hold certifications in their domain of expertise. It is truly a wonderful experience working amidst professionals with a variety of knowledge.
Vizual is a company where outstanding performance never goes unnoticed. Warm appreciation of outstanding work is also placed in the records and career growth ceases to be a pressing concern in one's mind as greater responsibilities and lucrative promotions steadily knock at the door. My Career in Vizual has seen me grow from a Programmer Analyst to a Project Leader. I'd like to stay in project management to acquire new managerial skills and also to divulge the experience I have gained to my teams.
I am indeed thankful to be a part of this exciting and challenging company. |
