We are a product based software development company and are passionate about quality. Our SQA team is the gatekeeper for the stability of our software. They represent not only the company's interests but more importantly those of our customers.

Being a product-based company gives our people the opportunity to develop testing plans and activities that stretch across the lifecycle of the product, from inception to roll out and maintenance. This necessitates strategetic decision-making by the Software Quality Assurance team.

We employ team tester practices where a member of the testing team works directly with the software developers from the time a requirement is received to the release. Working as they do as a team of peers, each team member is afforded an equal voice. Each team member is empowered to deliver and is respected as a professional making a contribution to the successful release of the software.

The testing team are represented in the Microsoft Solution Framework by the Test Role cluster and we are constantly improving our processes in line with this industry leading process.

Automating our tests is the prime key to fully meeting our quality objectives and it is consistent with our philosophy that the focus of our test team should be on writing excellent tests, not running them. We are using test tools such as Quick Test Professional to assist with automation.
